Attention VACS Families,
If your current VACS student does NOT have a sibling who you want to enroll at VACS next school year (2027-28), you may disregard this email.
If your current VACS student DOES have a sibling who you would like to enroll at VACS next school year (2027-28), please use this link to submit an application for him/her before our lottery in February – Application (2027-28) at enrollment.powerschool.com/family/Login?ReturnUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fenrollment.powerschool.com%2Ffamily%2Fdirectaction&AutoLogOut=False
NOTE – PowerSchool Enrollment and PowerSchool SIS are two separate platforms.
PowerSchool Enrollment is the platform where interested families submit an application for their child to attend VACS. It is also the platform where current VACS families submit a re-enrollment form for their child to return each year.
PowerSchool SIS is the platform where current VACS families can check their child’s grades, attendance, etc.
The parent of every VACS student has a PowerSchool Enrollment account, so if you forgot your password, please click “forgot password” to reset your password.
Please do NOT follow the instructions in this email to RE-ENROLL your CURRENT Vision Academy student. A separate email will be sent in January about re-enrollment for current students. This email is ONLY for families who are interested in applying their VACS student’s sibling for next year (if applicable).
Please note that siblings are NOT guaranteed acceptance/admission. However, they do get placed in our “priority group” of applicants.
Siblings include:
A child who shares one or both parents with your current VACS student
A step sibling to your current VACS student
A foster or adoptive sibling to your current VACS student
Cousins do NOT qualify as siblings
If you apply for a child and indicate that they are the sibling of your current VACS student but you cannot provide proof, or if we are notified that they are cousins and not siblings, Vision Academy reserves the right to reject that child's application or place them at the bottom of the waitlist.
*Note – All kindergarten applicants/siblings must be at least 5 years old by September 1st.
Our lottery will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2027. This is when all applicants (including siblings) will find out whether they were accepted or waitlisted to attend VACS next school year. Attending the lottery is optional; the results will be emailed to all families that same evening.
